I’m Yulian Tinoco, a Licensed Professional Counselor with Counseling Center Group in Alexandria, VA, licensed in Virginia and Michigan. My caseload is built around infidelity, attachment patterns, and out-of-control sexual behavior (OCSB), working with both individuals and couples. I’m Gottman Method Level 1 certified and lean heavily on that framework when couples are trying to rebuild trust after a betrayal or figure out why they keep landing in the same fight.
A significant part of my practice is helping professionals themselves, healthcare workers, teachers, nonprofit staff, spiritual leaders, who are used to holding everyone else together and need somewhere to be honest about their own patterns.
My approach is direct, sex-positive, and attachment-informed. I don’t do vague or worksheet-y therapy, and I bring the same directness to clinical conversations with colleagues. I also work bilingually in Spanish.
