I have been licensed as a Clinical Psychologist in New York since 2006, and have worked in a variety of medical centers In and near New York City since then, most recently at the James J. Peters Veterans Affairs Meical Center in The Bronx from 2009 through 2024. I have been in private practice since 2012, full-time since 2024. I offer an array of psychotherapeutic interventions, including (and often mixing) trauma-focused treatments (EMDR, PE, and CPT), Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Humanistic/Person-Centered Psychotherapy. I am rather active as a therapist, as I see my role to be to guide and accompany clients in a collaborative exploration of their inner psychological world and experience, toward their growth, healing and optimal fulfillment of their nature and potential. I seek to assist clients in developing a healthy and affirming relationship with themselves. I believe that for all of us, “to be well” is an action verb, and strive to maintain a strengths-based and solution-focused perspective in the evolving treatment. I am very pleased to be a member of the TherapyHive since 2024, and am open for referrals for both in-person and virtual individual psychotherapy. I accept Aetna and BC/BS insurance plans (for now), and offer a sliding scale fee between $250-$350 for hourlong sessions. I am on-site at the Hive on Mondays and Thursdays.
