After a first career in the performing arts, I earned my Masters in Social Work from NYU in 2008. I have been in private practice for over ten years and before that, I gained experience at a community mental health center, an after-school program for adolescents and the inpatient psychiatry department at Kings County Hospital. My approach is insight-oriented, blending psychodynamic and existential schools of thought. I also integrate practices from CBT, DBT, mindfulness and Eastern philosophies. I welcome all individuals who resonate with my approach, but some of my specialties are: burnout recovery and stress management, finding career direction/purpose, life transitions, life coaching, and women's issues. I offer free 15-minute consultations.
