Frequently Asked Questions

How often am I billed for my membership?

Your monthly membership fee for all the plans: The Hive, Bumblebee, Carpenter Bee and Honeybee Plans are billed monthly. The billing cycle is on the first of the month, except for the first month you sign up, which is pro-rated. For example, if you sign-up on August 10th, your first bill will be pro-rated (August 11th -August 31st.) September 1st would be the start of your monthly membership billing. Please note, a full 30-day billing cycle is required before a plan can be cancelled. Payment for hourly offices are due at the time of booking.

The Bumblebee ($49/month) and Honeybee ($149/month) plans include access to private therapy offices for hourly rentals.

Yes, you can add team members to the Carpenter Bee and Honeybee Plans ($19/month for each member). Bumblebee Plan is for individual practices. Each membership allows for one profile to be listed in The Hive. If you want to add additional profiles in The Hive, you can sign-up for an individual account for each therapist.

Yes group practices with a Bumblebee or Honeybee Plan can book offices. You must notify [email protected] to provide your team members for booking access. They can book the space under your “team”. Please note that KISI access must be granted to each team member individually in order for them to enter and use the office.

To add a team member to a Carpenter Bee Plan is $19/month. You are charged for each team member who receives mail at the TherapyHive address. The Honeybee Plan is $19/month for additional team members who use the office for hourly bookings and to receive mail at the TherapyHive address – not both. For example, if you have three therapists under your group practice and two are receiving mail and the same two are booking offices, you will be charged $19/mo x 2. If your third therapist uses only the address, you will be charged $19/mo x 3.

Good question! The Honeybee Plan ($149/month) includes a virtual office with monthly mail forwarding and hourly access to therapy offices. It is a higher price per month, but you’ll save more when you rent an hourly office. The Bumblebee Plan ($49/month) offers hourly access to therapy offices but does not include a virtual office or mail forwarding. The Bumblebee Plan, you pay less each month but spend a little more when you rent an office. If you are anticipating using an office more frequently or are a prescriber who needs to meet DEA and state licensing requirements, the Honeybee Plan might be the right plan for you. Please do your own due diligence with state and licensing board requirements.

Yes, but you need to change your plan that includes access to an office – Bumblebee Plan ($49/month) or Honeybee Plan ($149/month). Please note, any changes to your membership plan requires a 30 day change notice.

If you cancel before 48 hours you will receive a credit to use toward future bookings that is good for six months. If you cancel within 48 hours you will not receive a refund.

Good question and it depends on a few things: Do you anticipate seeing patients in-person every week? Does it matter which day you see them? A dedicated part-time office, you have full-day access to one day(s) each week (ie, all Mondays for the month.) It entails a year-long commitment with a contract. This gives you security to build your practice around the day(s) you are dedicating to seeing patients. If you don’t want to make a commitment and need more flexibility to see a patient on any day of week and don’t anticipate needing to use an office every week or only want to use an office for a few hours every week, the hourly option might be better.
