Welcome to TherapyHive. By using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the service.

Nature of the Platform

TherapyHive provides a professional support platform primarily for licensed mental-health professionals, including but not limited to:

  • Office rentals and shared workspace services
  • Virtual business address and mail handling services
  • An online directory of independent therapists

For members of the public, TherapyHive provides access to information about independent therapists listed in our directory.

TherapyHive does not provide therapy, medical care, psychological services, or clinical supervision. We do not employ, endorse, supervise, or control any therapist listed on the Platform.

Therapist Users

Therapists who use the Platform (“Therapist Users”) are independent professionals solely responsible for:

  • Maintaining all required licenses, certifications, and insurance
  • Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and legality of their profiles and listings
  • Complying with all applicable laws, professional standards, and ethical obligations
  • Providing services directly to their own clients, outside of TherapyHive

TherapyHive does not guarantee referrals, client volume, or business outcomes.

Patient and Visitor Users

Individuals using the Platform to search for or learn about therapists (“Patients” or “Visitors”) acknowledge that:

  • TherapyHive is not a referral service and does not recommend or endorse any therapist
  • Any relationship formed with a therapist is solely between the patient and that therapist
  • TherapyHive is not responsible for the quality, outcomes, or appropriateness of any therapy services

The Platform does not create a therapist-patient relationship between TherapyHive and any user.

Accounts and Profiles

Certain features require account creation. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and current information
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • Notify us of any unauthorized access

Therapist Users must ensure profile information is truthful and not misleading. TherapyHive reserves the right to suspend, edit, or remove accounts or listings that violate these Terms or applicable laws.

Office Rentals, Virtual Address, and Mail Services

TherapyHive may offer physical office rentals, virtual business address services, and mail handling or forwarding for professional use.

  • These services are administrative and logistical only
  • TherapyHive does not open, review, or interpret mail contents
  • Therapist Users remain solely responsible for compliance with HIPAA and DEA, privacy laws, licensing requirements, and professional regulations
  • Use of a TherapyHive address does not imply residency, employment, or endorsement

Additional agreements or policies may apply to these services.

User Content

Users may submit content including profile information, reviews, or messages.

By submitting content, you grant TherapyHive a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the content for operating and promoting the Platform.

We reserve the right to remove content that is inaccurate, misleading, inappropriate, or violates these Terms.

All TherapyHive branding, design, text, and platform materials are owned by TherapyHive or used with permission and may not be copied without authorization.

Payments and Subscriptions

Certain services require payment, including therapist memberships and subscriptions.

  • Prices and features may change with notice
  • Payments may be processed by third-party providers, whose terms apply
  • Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance

All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.

Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. TherapyHive makes no guarantees regarding:

  • Availability or uninterrupted access
  • Accuracy or completeness of listings
  • Outcomes of interactions between users

Nothing on the Platform constitutes medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TherapyHive is not liable for any damages arising from:

  • Use or inability to use the Platform
  • Interactions between therapists and patients
  • Inaccurate, misleading, or unauthorized user content
  • Business, financial, or professional outcomes

Your use of the Platform is at your own risk.

Termination

TherapyHive may suspend or terminate access to the Platform at any time if a user violates these Terms or poses a risk to the community or Platform.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. The most current version will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
